Our mission at the Coaticook Carrefour jeunesse-emploi is to provide information, counselling and support to our clients. Whether you want to stay in school, succeed academically, develop your employability or complete one of your life goals, we can help.
Services are free, personalized and confidential for anyone ages 16-35 living in the Coaticook MRC.
Since opening its doors, the CJE has :
- Welcomed over 2,500 clients;
- Carried out over 6,000 client meetings;
- Conducted over 8,550 telephone follow-ups;
- Wrote, revised or edited over 3,000 résumés;
- Facilitated over 1,650 work placements;
- Facilitated over 200 training placements;
- Made over 2,425 referrals to its partners.
At CJE you can :
- Create your resume or cover letter
- Prepare for an interview
- Learn about possible jobs and/or employers
- Receive support and information for your return to school
- Meet with a guidance counsellor
- Participate in a work placement to develop your skills and knowledge
- Explore MRC, Coaticook’s municipalities and plan your move
- Participate in volunteer projects in your community…
- Learn about the organizations in your region and the services they offer
